bring water

This was out product for Interactivity. We created a water product that was actually good tasting and had healthy vitamis in it wihtout making it a vitamin water.....we did good on the project, it was awesome. I made the bottles, designed the label and the logo for each one. Find the connotation? hehe. Each one helps with a different thing, like hangover, memory, workout, recovery etc...and have awesome names like "Mission Impecable", "The Day After", "Recovery", "Wake the F*** Up!", "Rememebr the Name", and "The King", that's in colour order, they are pretty good for you, and made in Canada!

ZOOLANDER

This was a little project we had to do for class. Draw the animals, watercolour the background, alter in photoshop (just the outlines) and then add a blurb about hte animal, real or fake, i'm just too lazy to even make anything up...sorry. Herer you go.

BINKY: finished

Here is my finished toy. I love the way it turned out. This is BINKY, he is a Mono-Embersaurus and he is for the toy line that we had to create for class. It was comissioned by client group Pind70. He was creadted with sculpey modeling clay and cooked in the oven, it also has a wire and tin foil armature underneath. In the land of predator and prey BINKY is considered the prey. But don't be fooled...Binky is super fast and pretty strong. He has tiny arms but that doesn't stop him from blasting his apponents with a major blast of fire. Yes, he is a fire breathing monster, hence the name embersaurus. The mono
of the name is because he has this cute little horn on the top of his giant head for added head-butt attacks. His predator is a snake- like monster that is really fast and very poisonous, he can blend very well into his environment and can become almost invisible. To protect himself from his predator, a.k.a. Herb, even more BINKY has addapted to survive and the little sensors on the tips of his feet can help him sense where his predator enemy is when nearby. Not to perfection, but it they can give him a little heads up so he is not so helpless. They live in a small half desert half forset planet called Desertia from the Jurassic Recreatorium Galaxy. It has no himan inhabitants but it is well populated with wildlife and vegitation.

Princess Peach: Actual colours

This is my same drawing but i changed the colours to the actual princess peach colours. i just eye dropper-ed an actual peach image and make the colours hte same. but i think mine still looks awesome

Princess Peach

This is by FAR my favourite thing i have done in illustrator! i love princess peach! i drew this picture and then made it in illustrator, so yes this is all my own design! LOVE

Toy model

Binky, the Mono- Embersaurus
toy made of sculpey
wire armature and tin foil base
not baked yet

BINKY: the mono-embersaurus

This is the actual final drawing of BINKY the Mono- Embersaurus. (mono cause he has one horn, and ember cuase of the fire breathing, and saurus cause he's basically a dinosaur)...duh. I think he is a lot cuter and looks so innocent and adorable but really deadly and capable of escaping his predator.

this was the origonal sketch for BINKY but i thought it was to robo crazy. In this story he is the prey and my partner (Stan Gold) is creating the predator, so i htought it would make more sense to make him more simple and cuter, make hom look more vulnerable...looking. There are also some brainstorm ideas and a small logo that can be used as a product logo either with or without the actual name in it. It can also be turned into a flash animation in the future.

Skateboard Process #5 Finished!

The finished project! When working on this obviosuly i didn not have it just finish like this. I just traced everything and then after everything was done then i colour corrected and changed the colors to ones that would work better together. I added drop shadows for depht and more detailing, and I added my name, the texture that was mandatory, and all the little details that just made it better and not as flat. i really like it!

It may not seem like a lot fo steps but I actually finished this in about 3 days, that might seem rushed but i would just work forever on this, all night, illustrator is addictive and i relaly love the way it turned out. i probably worked over 14 hours on this.

I have a skateboard to put it on but i think I am going to buy a plank one that does not have any hole for trucks screwed into it. Mainly becuase I want to hang it on my wall, so I want it as an art piece and so it has to look good!

It might have seemed dumb to use the dirst idea i had, but honestly it was too perfect. The first idea was the best one i ever could have come up with so i didn't care. i loved it, and come on, this design is epic!

Skateboard Process #4

Almost done

Skateboard Process #3

added extra colours and some dust, shading and other details

Skateboard Process #2

adding clouds and the lightning

Skateboard Process #1

Here is my process work in illustrator.
The colours look like they have changed a biut from being uploaded, so the colors might not be as accurate but this is the beginning.

Skateboard Process

this is the first picture I drew for my skateboard. I drew a crappy sketch in a boring class one say, and just said "this is it" so this was the better more detailed sketch and just got to work on Illustrator
